Secretly stamp the back of a spectators hand with invisible card symbols that can later be revealed by rubbing a bit of ash across the area! Magic Soot comes with everything you need to start performing this powerful and easy effect.

Effect: The spectator is asked to illustrate the number and symbol of their selected card on a piece of notepad paper. The paper is ignited and burned. Some of the ashes are sprinkled on the back of the spectators' hand. As the ashes are gently brushed away, the name of the selected card is revealed.

This is not just a technique to invisibly stamp a spectator, but a self-contained gimmick that conceals the mechanics in performance. You are furnished with a hand stamp with card symbols (reverse of how they will appear), a notepad with a compartment underneath to conceal the stamp until needed, and most importantly the invisible marking substance (not Vaseline which smears the revelation). When applied to the hand stamp, this marking substance produces a completely invisible print on the back of a spectators hand, until ashes are rubbed over the area.
